Stage 1
We will start with a review of the existing products (or very similar products) currently on sale in this category in the relevant channels. We will visit selected retailers, wholesalers etc. and review packaging, outlet claims and online offerings. This review will be conducted nationally and across a variety of store sizes/formats. We will take photos and compile detailed records of findings. We will want to compare these findings to the client’s products. Consequently, we will need to review received samples of all products intended for the UK market.

Stage 2
Having established the current market position (prices, packs, quality, brand, private-label) we will use our experience and market knowledge to compile a detailed assessment of how the client’s products might penetrate the UK market and effectively be the foundation of a ‘go to market’ strategy.
